About us

My Coaching My Future (MCMF) is a free, confidential coaching service for women who have moved on from a violent relationship.

We work with women of all ages, abilities, cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

We work with [service providers] (link to Additional resources page, anchor to Referring partners) in the domestic and family violence space in Canberra and surrounding areas, who refer women to our service.

Our coaches

Our coaches are self-employed and semi-retired women with a range of backgrounds in business, the community and public sectors.

All our coaches have strong networks, qualifications and experience in mentoring and coaching, and operate under a Code of Ethics.

MCMF was established in 2017 by Libby Lloyd AM and Julia Burns. Libby, now the Patron of MCMF, was a co-founder and board member of the White Ribbon Foundation in Australia (2003-13) and has been a key adviser on domestic and family violence policy to successive Australian governments. Julia, Chair of MCMF, is a former Executive Director of the Office for Women and runs an HR consultancy business.

MCMF is an Incorporated Association, registered under the ACT government’s Associations Incorporation Act 1991 and run by a volunteer committee.
